Commisioners of supply in Zetland: Laurence Stewart of Biggtoune, Andrew Mowatt of Gairth, Patrick Lesslie of Ustanes, George Cheyne of Estlamonth, George Mowatt of Hamnavoe, John Giffard of Bustay, Mr Alexander Sinclair, minister at Delting, Theodore Umphray, minister at Nesting, Magnus Chyne of Hogister, John Bruce of Simbister, Captaine Laurence Middletoune and Andrew Thomspone in Scalloway, Robert Hunter of Lunna and Thomas Fea of Skellingsta.
Tack by contract between Laurence Stewart of Bigtoune and Andrew Mowatt of Gairth and John Mitchell of Berrie, on the one part, and Alexander Brand, stewart of Orknay and Zetland, on the other part, for collecting and intromitting with the old poll money payable by all persons pollable within the said countray, and that old poll money so fermed by Alexander Brand, subtacksman of Zetland, as they are obliged to pay and deliver to him, his heirs and executors, for the sum of 3500 merks Scots, engrossed on 18 October 1695.
